Shoes you can wash safely
Skovasken works brilliantly for the vast majority of everyday shoes – running shoes, trainers, canvas shoes, children's shoes, hiking shoes and sandals. If the shoe is made of fabric, mesh, canvas or synthetic material you can wash it safely.
We do not, however, recommend washing shoes made of leather, suede or high heels. Those materials are more delicate and are best cleaned by hand.

What temperature should I wash the shoes at?
For the best and gentlest results we recommend 30 degrees.
It's warm enough to get the shoes clean whilst preserving the material, the shape and the glue. Avoid higher temperatures, with Skovasken there's no need.

Can I wash several shoes at once?
Yes, you can but we recommend washing one shoe per bag for the best results and maximum gentleness.
Skovasken is designed to give each pair room so the microfibres can clean properly whilst the shoes are protected from knocks. If you overfill the bag, both the cleaning effect and the shock absorption are reduced.
Got several pairs that need freshening up? Then you can:
